Upon connecting to a computer, the both the P-215II and P-208II scanners lets users “Plug-and-Scan,” without needing to install drivers or applications. Also, a single click can automatically adjust multiple feature settings to easily deliver the best scanned image. The bundled Canon CaptureOnTouch software enables users to configure routine jobs for quick and easy one-touch access. It can also send scanned images directly to third-party cloud applications,* such as Evernote™, Microsoft SharePoint, Google Drive™, SugarSync, OneDrive, and Dropbox. This scanner is also bundled with ISIS and TWAIN drivers for easy integration with third-party capture or content management systems.
FLEXIBLE OPERATION
The P-208II scanner is capable of scanning both sides of an item at the same time, in color or black and white. It can handle a wide variety of document types, including thick or thin documents, and plastic or embossed cards. This scanner can also handle long documents and detect when double-feeds occur to help ensure that no data is lost.
MAXIMUM IMAGE QUALITY
The P-215II scanner includes features to help improve the legibility of hard-to-scan documents, even those with dark backgrounds, as well as to trim, straighten, and remove shadows from scanned images. Another setting is useful for scanning mixed batches of documents and photographs, automatically adjusting the resolution to improve image quality.
