We could not stand the empty house without a Scottie in it. We waited 10 days and drove 700 miles to get our baby Scottie Mattie. She is so full of life. But we still miss our Poco. We plan on getting a sister for Mattie in the future. Once a Scottie owns you, you are hooked for life. |

I am new to your web site. Very interesting. I have 2 scotties - there is nothing like them. Although I have been collecting scotty items for seven years, I have quite a collection. I attend the Wee Scots Convention in Ohio in June, which is totally scotty and shear heaven.
I have been camping with a friend (Carol Pierce) and her two scotties for the last several years. We have moved into a 38 foot Monaco Diesel Pusher RV. We call it the doghaus. We are purchasing a wheaten scotty pup to add to our menagerie this coming January. Can't wait.
We will be purchasing one of your neon signs for the front window of the RV when parked, of course. |

| Comments:We have had five Scotties now, over a twenty year span...Raisin and Cricket (females - same parents - different litters) were our first..both black. Raisin passed away at 10 and Cricket at 13. When Raisin left us, we missed her so desperately that much to Cricket's dismay: we brought home not one - but TWO more. Skipper and Maggie - both Wheatens came into all of our hearts and home. Skipper passed away in March of this year from lymphatic cancer at age nine. We were devastated. But, once you have had a houseful of Scotties, you need to continue the tradition! Maggie will soon be ten. In April, we added another Wheaten (Oliver) to the chaos! Each of our Scotties has had a unique personality...but all have been the love of our lives. Oliver is by far the sassiest of the Scotties and sometimes the fur flies between he and Maggie but Opie is thrilled to have his own dog:) Our son's Westie liked visiting so much - and one day he just refused to go back home with him. He has been with us for eight years now. We have found this Westie to be a little more high strung, but one who loves people around. We would love to participate in the 2004 Rally. Do you know when it will be next year and can we be added to the mailing list?

My parents were excited to see an article in the Advocate last year(they have a home on Rowleys Bay), they are very proud of their Scottie and bichon "grandkids". Olivia the scot loves running around hunting mice on my land in Liberty Grove, her absolute favorite activity. Her younger and shorter brother isn't quite as thrilled running thru the tall grass. | Comments:My husband and I learned about the Scottie Rally via The Dog Spot in Wauwatosa. We have a travel trailer and spend time in Door County but never knew about your rally. We are planning to attend in 2003. We have two Scotties. One we raised from a puppy and our older Scottie wes rescued at about age 4 when our puppy was 2. He has Scottie Cramp but with lots of love and a great vet, keeps up with our younger Scot. His previous owners didn't want a dog with health issues. We are so pleased we have been able to give our Buddy a great home and he has given us much love as well as a wonderful "brother" to our Max. See you all in May.

| Comments:GREAT SITE, will bookmark it & tell my scottie friends! DARLING PHOTOS!!! Rally sounds like such fun, too bad it's so far away from me. My husband & don't have scotties but we love all dogs. We've got a few mixed breeds of our own plus for the past 6+ years we've fostered tiny abandoned puppies. We get them from 10 days old to 4-5 weeks, caring for them usually until 8-12 weeks...10-15 each year! SO...while I wish we could help support every dog group, we've kinda got our hands full & our wallets empty here!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK & THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR SITE!! |
